Account Director


This is a unique opportunity to work on the world’s largest networking brand.  The primary purpose of the role is to direct the development, delivery and optimization of digital advertising creative for global direct response campaigns on social, display, search, email, and more.  



  • You will be the Account leader for an agency team of strategists, creatives, project managers and producers who develop digital creative for global campaigns, deliver creative to media buying teams, and then lead rounds of creative optimization to improve results every quarter. 
  • You will represent the agency as the primary point of contact for 20+ clients around the globe to understand business initiatives, goals, requirements, and pain points for upcoming campaigns and ensure that our creative solutions map back to their needs as well as the expectations of their target audiences.  
  • You will understand the client's product positioning, branding, and budgetary needs and direct internal teams accordingly. 
  • You will collaborate closely with the creative director to help direct the day-to-day digital creative development process from concept development to creative rounds of review, production, and delivery by assembling internal teams and partnering with clients and their media agencies.   
  • Responsibilities include managing multiple campaigns across multiple channels and languages.
  • You are a confident self-starter who can establish strong working relationships internally and with clients to act as a key communication point between teams and manage complex deliveries in multiple time zones and cultures. 
  • You are familiar with what works to improve the performance of digital creative and possess strong leadership skills as you guide the client through consideration of digital marketing best practices, campaign results, creative expectations, timelines, and out-of-scope requests to ensure high-quality service is provided within the parameters of our contract.  
  • The Account Director is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the account including revenue forecasting, pricing, invoicing and financial reconciliation with clients and internal business leads.  
  • As an experienced agency professional, you’ll also have the ability to prepare new business pitches and proposals as new opportunities arise. 



  • Experience 
    • 7+ years of related experience in digital marketing Account Services with a proven record of client satisfaction and account growth 
    • Experience working with many client stakeholders across several departments of a large corporation 
    • 2-5 years of experience at the Director or Associate Director level, global experience delivering campaigns in multiple languages is a plus 
    • Familiarity with creative production and transcreation as it relates to timelines, reviews and delivery processes 
    • Prior experience with a tech brand is a big plus 
    • Prior experience with paid digital advertising is required 
    • Managing accounts valued more than $1M in revenue 
    • Managing accounts with paid media, social, and conversion optimization as part of scope 
  • General skills: 
    • Strong communication and organizational skills as information will need to be shared clearly and efficiently with global stakeholders across multiple time zones with many moving parts 
    • Ability to develop team members by coaching, training and identifying areas for growth. Must be skilled at offering direct and consistent feedback and encourage your team to continually learn 
    • Possess enough knowledge of the various disciplines involved to be able to communicate  
    • Ability to clearly articulate strategic contributions to projects, programs, and accounts 
    • Must be flexible and adapt in a fast-paced work environment 
    • Confident, positive attitude and ability to problem solve 
    • Proven track record for delivering projects on time and within budget
