Senior Account Manager (Santa Clara, CA)


Maintains strong client relationships, and in conjunction with the Account Director, plans, and directs the client-approved strategic direction of assigned marketing projects in print, video and digital for our high-tech client.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Maintains strong client relationships and, in conjunction with the Account Director, plans, coordinates, and directs the client-approved strategic direction of assigned marketing projects in print, video and digital for our high-tech client.
  • Functions as primary contact and liaison between the client(s) and the Chicago/Long Beach based eg+ staff
  • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with client and all agency partners
  • Represents eg+ in a positive and collaborative manner and is the “face of the team” at the client
  • Gather project information from client and work with strategy and project management team to develop proper brief, deliverable recommendations and scope of work.
  • Ensures the client’s voice is heard and understood by capturing and translating accurate client input and feedback, and providing that information to the team
  • Able to communicate client priorities, direction and concerns to the team in verbal and written form
  • Confers with creative staff, project management and production personnel in selecting appropriate project solutions
  • Keeps client apprised of budgets including, adjustments or revisions to budgets and projects
  • Ensures integration and consistency throughout all creative projects which consists of content creation, video, print and digital creation projects
  • Monitors project process by developing a close working-relationship with Program Management
  • Works with client’s marketing partners and the team in the delivery of holistic, integrated marketing solutions for clients
  • Looks for opportunities to develop organic revenue growth
  • Works with all client departments
  • Keeps the team up to speed on relevant “news” and “happenings” with client

  • 6+ years of experience in an agency, marketing or communication environment
  • An understanding of the development of creative projects in, print, video, social and digital required
  • Exceptional writing skills for proposals, estimates and team/client communications
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Progressive tech industry and B2B marketing experience is a plus
  • Keeps current on marketing trends and developments
  • In depth understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint


Job requires some travel as well as evening and/or weekend work
