Associate Creative Director

The Associate Creative Director reports to the Creative Director, and leads the creative team, including Art Directors, Designers and Copywriters in the creation of superior marketing and advertising solutions across all channels for our high profile, global financial services client.

The ACD demonstrates exceptionally high standards in developing original creative, while propelling strategic thinking, effective concepting and brand cohesiveness. The position presents a talented individual with the unique opportunity to concept, execute and present to key client stakeholders, creating new standards and pushing boundaries in the process.

The work on this account spans multiple channels, however, a majority of the work is digital (web and social media). The ACD will contribute to the development of digital strategies and create experience-oriented content and creative solutions that fulfill strategic business objectives. 



  • Work closely with the Strategy and Account teams to interpret and guide client directives towards effective creative products

  • Plan, assign, direct and review work of creatives

  • Provide regular support and mentorship to creative team to ensure flawless delivery of the creative product on an ongoing basis

  • Apply critical and conceptual thinking to brand and marketing strategies

  • Work directly with project management and Studio personnel to manage project needs and expectations to ensure delivery in a timely manner

  • Direct video/photo shoots, editing and production-related tasks as necessary

  • Present to client stakeholders at the Manager level frequently



  • Minimum 6 years of progressive creative and management experience in an agency or related marketing environment 
(at least 3+ years digital agency environment)

  • A strong working knowledge of interaction design, user-centered experience design, and digital content development

  • Strong ability to provide clear creative direction and provide timely and meaningful feedback to improve creative processes to keep work on schedule and budget

  • Excellent presentation abilities and communication skills at all levels of both internal and client organizations

  • Strong ability to prioritize work and resources across engagements

  • Proven leadership skills with experience guiding large creative teams (8+) and overseeing at least 1-2 direct reports

  • Proven mentoring, supervisory, and team-building skills

  • Financial Services industry experience a plus

  • Flexible, communicative, professional with a great eye and strong attention to detail
