Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY:  
At eg+ worldwide, we are proud producers and makers. A global network specializing in content creation, production services, transcreation and global implementation of our clients’ brand messages, it’s our job to deliver high quality, cost-efficient, culturally relevant and timely marketing communication executions across all media channels. 
We are looking for a driven and dynamic individual to join our New York team. This role is based in Jersey City, NJ, with time spent at the eg+ and client offices in Manhattan. The ideal candidate has a passion for quality and service and a strong focus on client and business needs. 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
The Account Manager will oversee client initiatives from start to finish for two of our global businesses. This role will help capture client objectives in a variety of areas including video creation, ebrochures/keynotes, social, website design, webinars and other types of collateral outputs. Responsibilities include flawlessly executing all projects, idendifying process efficiencies, client development and applying commercial stewardship. Reporting to the Account Director, and in collaboration with other team members, the Account Manager should demonstrate a deep understanding of our business model and be seen by the key client personnel as a valued and indispensable conduit between their organization and eg+. 
 
  • Ensure seamless communication and delivery across competencies (digital, print, TV, etc.) 
  • Provide cross-functional leadership and expertise as designated liaison between eg+ and client. 
  • Engage at every client touch point for the account – creative and agency account leads, regional and global client representatives. 
  • Act as brand ambassador for the client; be immersed in the brand and the clients’ ongoing marketing strategy efforts and offering. Stay current and up-to-date on industry and client category best practices. 
  • Maintain account management and operational best practices and provide fresh insight and innovation on all existing procedures. 
  • Handle the day-to-day operations of client projects including brief in-take, scoping, schedule creation and job execution.  
  • Ensure the account management team maintains full compliance with all financial procedures and policies.  Be commercially astute fiscally accountable, and insightful. 
  • Maintain thorough reporting of all processed requests and periodically provide data to support new business initiatives within the designated account. 
  • Consistently deliver against all contractual obligations including SLAs and KPIs. 
  • Manage all client projects from brief through to delivery ensuring final materials are on time and of the highest quality. 
  • Take responsibility for ongoing communication internally and with the client, tracking project progress and status against schedules.  
  • Spearhead and own internal workflows, identifying areas for improvement as needed. 
  • Lead and grow assigned accounts and support new business development efforts - This includes, but is not limited to, proactively seeking and identifying opportunities within the account for new revenue streams, supporting the Global Business Lead in developing business development proposals, striving to better client and stakeholder relations, and maintaining the highest level of business partnerships. 
 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
A recognized and appropriate academic or professional qualification is preferred, or significant relevant experience within the marketing or advertising production sector. 
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in client, project or account management roles within complex, fast-moving creative campaign/production environments. 
  • Proven success in a client management role with a demonstrable track record of delivering enhanced performance and delivering high-quality service to clients. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills. 
  • Self-starter, independent worker  
  • Excellent project management skills including knowledge of various methodologies and technology. 
  • Experience with project management workflow tools (e.g. Workfront, Active Collab, etc.) and Google apps (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides) a plus.
