Senior Strategist

JOB SUMMARY: 
Designory’s Strategy group is looking for a Sr Strategist to help shape the strategic vision for our automotive clients.  You will have the opportunity to develop holistic, cross-channel, end-to-end marketing, growth, and optimization strategies for both content and experiences that align with customer needs along the automotive purchase and ownership journey.   
 
You will work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and create strategic solutions that meet business and customer needs to produce measurable results.   
 
We are looking for someone who brings a blend of marketing experience that includes content and video strategy, growth marketing, social, conversion optimization, customer experience, and customer journey with the ability to inspire client leadership and internal team members towards a strategic vision using data-driven and customer-centric methodologies.  You have a passion for content, video, and growth marketing, keep up with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, and view things with a user-centered lens. 
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:  
  • Develop and drive strategic initiatives to meet business goals/ KPIs that align with customer needs along the automotive shopping journey  
  • Develop data-driven content amplification  
  • Produce and manage mixed-method research, analysis, and insights that incorporate market data/ research, first-party data, and qualitative data to produce pre-launch, launch, and optimization strategies 
  • Facilitate collection of qualitative data such as insights, surveys, interviews, and other methods of gathering customer data to provide a 360° view of the customer 
  • Present strategic approach, insights, or ideation to various clients 
  • Work with creative and product teams to ensure user perspectives and needs are met in video creative 
  • Provide data-led content, distribution and optimization insights and strategies that maximize the impact of video  
  • Create reports that highlight the performance of videos across all distribution platforms using native reporting tools and present to clients and internal stakeholders 
  • Test and Optimize video metadata on native video platforms  
  • Create briefs to kickoff and lead strategic and content-related projects 
  • Strong customer-centric focus  
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  
  • 6+ years of experience in digital agency environment; automotive experience a plus 
  • Experience using mixed-method research, or various sources of data (content strategy, SEO, UX, analytics, and video performance), to produce insights 
  • Working knowledge of performance marketing, social, and customer journey 
  • Experience producing content strategies that align with customer needs  
  • Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMRushAhrefs, and Moz a plus 
  • Hands-on experience with YouTube analytics a plus 
  • General skills: 
  • Strong communication and organizational skills as information will need to be shared clearly and efficiently with global stakeholders across multiple time zones 
  • Ability to clearly articulate strategic contributions at the project, program, and account levels 
  • Must be flexible and adapt in a fast-paced work environment 
  • Confident, positive attitude and ability to problem solve 
  • Proven track record for delivering projects on time and within budget 
  • Advocate for the latest video, social, and marketing trends 
  • Self-starter
