CGI Animator

JOB SUMMARY:
The Designory is looking for a detail-oriented 3D animator extraordinaire who is self-motivated and has excellent communication skills. If you are great at 3D animating and compositing then we want to hear from you! Our work includes the creation of photorealistic 3D still renderings and animations of consumer electronics, as well as photocomposites, retouching, full CG environment build outs and lighting. We are a tight knit collective of artists who have been together through years worth of execution, implementation, and refinement of technique and processes, to produce high level results.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Modeling
• Rigging (primary mechanical joints and parts with some soft body examples – fabrics and pliable plastics
• Animation and compositing
• Studio style product lighting
• Shader creation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Expert knowledge of Maya
• Expert knowledge of Vray
• Photoshop and Aftereffects experience preferred
• Experience in product visualization
• Teachability
• Meticulous attention to visual detail
• A desire to grow
• Thinks big picture
• Desire to help others
• Ideas for how we can improve
