Project Manager, Paid Media

At Designory, our Project Managers are the connective tissue of our teams, our ability to run day-to-day operations smoothly, and contribute at strategic levels.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Manager for our Paid Media clients. He/she needs to be a detail-oriented self-starter to manage the day-to-day for media projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams, while strategically contributing to projects and workflow efficiencies.  This includes but is not limited to project briefing through post-launch/ delivery. 
This role will support PMO leadership to continuously optimize Designory’s processes and create efficiencies where possible.
Project Delivery & Efficacy

  • Ensure high quality deliverables are produced within agreed upon timelines, budget, and scope
  • Develop and manage campaign schedules, vendor invoicing, budget trackers, and internal project burn reports
  • Primary point of contact for project status, resourcing, and prioritization for internal and external communications
  • Set up and run internal and external check-ins, stand ups, and status meetings
  • Recap primary decisions, deliverables, and next steps from meetings
  • Contribute to internal cross-functional team meetings
  • Identify and mitigate project risks by prioritizing deadlines, identifying blockers, and escalating issues as appropriate
  • Track ongoing client ad hoc requests and facilitate change orders as needed
  • Ensure appropriate collection, management, storage, and distribution of project details and information

Process & Work Standards

  • Ability to leverage a hybrid approach, based on project and client needs by fusing together agile, scrum, and other methodologies that allow for parallel workstreams, constant communication, and the ability to pivot based on priorities
  • Manage team collaboration tools (ie. Jira, SmartSheets, Trello, Slack, MS Teams, SharePoint sites, etc) including user administration
  • Assist with receipt and tracking of creative assets from clients and partner agencies and traffic to vendor partners as needed
  • Assist with operational onboarding of new campaigns and/or resources onto the team and onboarding materials
  • Co-author Scopes of Work and Change Orders
  • Coordinate and facilitate new vendor setup
  • Execute Purchase orders and invoicing

PMO Development & Management
Partner with Account leads to plan, operationalize, schedule, and manage work required to define milestones, craft client communications, oversee resourcing, and determine priorities
Implement and maintain PMO best practices & process
Proactively identify opportunities to create efficiencies

  • 5+ years of relevant experience actively managing complex paid media projects/ campaigns OR clear, demonstrable examples of performance as it relates to the job summary or responsibilities
  • Proactive, self-starter, who is detail oriented
  • Ability to adapt, and thrive, in a fast-paced, client service, iterative environment
  • Proven track record for completing projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
  • Client management and communication experience
  • 5+ years working with project management software tools (Jira, SmartSheet, Trello, etc), methodologies, and best practices
  • 5+ years managing projects with cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing media projects that include data-driven optimization, a/b testing, landing pages, and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Working knowledge and experience managing Media Vendor Billing & Invoicing Cycles
  • Working knowledge in Google AdWords, GA/ GTM, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook/ Instagram Ads, YouTube Ads, Display & Retargeting Networks, and other major platforms
  • Working knowledge of tools such as Moz, Google Keyword Research Tools, MediaOcean, Prisma, etc
  • Agency, consultancy, or creative environment experience is a plus
