Junior Art Director

JOB SUMMARY 

We’re looking for a Jr. Designer who is passionate about great design and will assist the Art Directors in concepting and layout for web, mobile, video and print pieces. Must be able to report to our Long beach location 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Ownership with oversight on assigned projects 
• Collaborate with Project Management, Production, Art Buying and Studio to achieve the best solutions for assignments 
• Produce video storyboards for client representations on assigned projects 
• May assist in presenting final layouts to client for approval 
• Keeps current on design/production trends, materials and developments 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Ability to adapt and work quickly, detail-oriented, well organized. 
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (strong portfolio can replace any formal education requirements). 
• Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). 
• Passion and eye for design. Knowledge of current trends and UX/UI a plus. 
• Experience in print collateral, typography, and digital.
