Freelance Post Producer

The Post Producer is in charge of executing the team’s creative and production vision hands on, to meet and exceed client expectations. Takes ownership in managing project timelines, personnel and conflicts that arise during the post production process. Finds the best solution to changing scope and deliveries by understanding how to quickly pivot to a new direction. Understands the details and processes that go CG production workflow and pipeline.

  • Supervises project pipeline from concept through to final comp, overseeing all elements created by the team
  • Monitors all aspects of quality control, including final color-correction for timely delivery
  • Regularly reviews and resolves conflict issues relating to budget expenditures and schedule status, with a solution-oriented approach
  • Works closely with the Product Owner, Account, and Creative teams to supervise, route, track notes and deliver assigned projects
  • Provide regular updates on project timelines and budget to the Post Production Manager
  • Enforce guidelines and parameters for post production artists throughout the life of each project
  • Acts as the day-to-day contact with internal Account team
  • Reports any/all client requests, outside of scope of work to Post Production Manager
  • Oversees day-to-day post production ensuring all projects and operations are running smoothly
  • Monitor staffing needs outside the in-house roster and alerts stakeholders with additional costs for approval
  • Ensure that the artistic and creative integrity of the project is upheld according to client needs and Creative Director recommendations


  • 3+ years in a Post Producer role
  • Automotive experience preferred
  • Excellent client, time management, verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized and works well under tight and changing deadlines
  • Understanding of post production costs and workflow
  • Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times
  • Strong problem solver in a video production setting
