Product Engineer, Technology

 

JOB SUMMARY

The product engineer will work on a multi-disciplinary agile team to maintain and grow what is becoming a multi-application, design system. This person is comfortable collaborating in the gray areas between roles to make a great solution for customers.

We are looking for someone who has worked in a spectrum of web and experiential technologies but particulalry in front-end execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Scrum participation
  • Technical product ownership
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical parties
  • Navigate and execute in production environments
  • Identify and debug various website issues
  • Be comfortable managing git repositories in an agile environment
  • Improve inefficiencies, whether through automation or technology, or through documented processes
  • Help more junior teammates, providing guidance and coaching on code implementation/design review

QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years experience in

  • Communicating between multiple stakeholders toward creative solutions
  • Working in scrum settings and breaking work into manageable chunks
  • Supporting enterprise-level solutions (including security and WCAG for ADA compliance)
  • React.js production app experience, Gatsby expertise a major plus
  • HTML, CSS (SCSS/SASS), and Javascript
  • Fully responsive design (beyond breakpoints or Bootstrap-like frameworks)
  • Some database management and CMS experience
  • Git expertise
  • Gulp, Webpack, or similar task runners
