Quality Assurance Project Manager


The Quality Assurance Project Manager is a senior member of the Compliance team. They are primarily responsible for handling the day-to-day management of project distribution amongst the Compliance team with the assistance of other discipline leads. This includes discussing scope/timelines with Project Managers and ensuring that the Compliance (including automation) team has all the necessary resources and guidance to complete projects. Experience working with a quality assurance team as a QA Tester or directly with QA is a plus.

Working with the Compliance team, the QA Project Manager also helps organize retrospectives, gather feedback, and empower team members by having them lead discussions focused on process improvements. With Manual QA Testers reporting directly to the QA Project Manager, they will be guided to help research, build-out, and present materials for internal process improvements, while maintaining deadlines. The QA Project Manager will utilize their skill set and insight to not only continuously improve the way the Compliance team works but to also develop the Manual QA Testers’ professional skills and growth within the company.

Qualified candidates will have resumes that display strong leadership experience, especially in environments where timelines are fluid and coordination across multiple departments is essential.

Sample Day-to-Day Duties Below, but Not Limited to:

● Communicate with Project Managers regarding timelines, resources, and risks to provide
smooth handoffs
● Communicate and coordinate with discipline leads to evaluate projects
● Track and distribute day-to-day project releases, balancing team workloads while ensuring
deadlines are met
● Communicate with team members to resolve challenges and improve work efficiency
● Distribute and oversee updates to new and existing documentation


● Support scoping across projects
● Formulate testing needs through project analysis and insight from discipline leads
● Provide guidance and leadership to the Manual QA Testers
● Formulate/maintain internal project timelines for the Manual QA Testers, communicating
them with the larger Compliance team
● Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager and Automation Lead to ensure
alignment on automation initiatives
● Communicate with Project Managers to ensure processes are being abided by and
adjusted accordingly to take into consideration changing requirements and feedback
● Recognize, analyze, and assist in the resolution of process challenges
● Assist the Quality Assurance Manager with maintaining and improving team dynamics
across disciplines
● Occasionally step in to assist and/or lead quality assurance duties such as evaluating
design, manual visual/functional review, taking screenshots as needed

● Jira, Confluence, Google Docs, BrowserStack, Slack, Teams
● Acrobat


● 2–5 years in QA or equivalent time spent working with a QA team
● 5 years of leadership experience
● Agency environment experience preferred
● Excellent time management, with the ability to track multiple projects in parallel
● Ability to problem-solve, improvise, and make quick decisions
● Curious, always willing to explore new ideas
● Collaborative team player
