Project Manager (3D/CGI)

JOB SUMMARY *can be in Chicago or remote

We’re searching for an experienced project manager to work in a fast-paced agency who will thrive in a dynamic environment where you will work closely with our team to produce a large volume of product imagery and animations. You should be extremely detail-oriented, organized and be able to manage multiple work streams with the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements/timelines.


  • Manage the overall creation and delivery of 3D/CGI produced imagery and videos
  • Develop detailed multi-phased timelines
  • Manage the intake and organization of shot lists, CAD files and documentation
  • Manage day-to-day tasks, performing proactive identification of potential challenges and ensuring on-time project deliverables
  • Develop and manage estimates and scopes
  • Assign individual resource responsibilities and help identify appropriate resources needed on a per-project basis
  • Manage project communication internally and externally and document key meetings and decisions
  • Lead estimation process with project management team and discipline leads
  • Develop and track project schedules and budgets, monitor project scope, and handle invoice tracking and account billing for a project-based account
  • Report overall project status internally and externally



  • 2-3 years of experience with 1+ in an agency environment
  • Background in 3D / CGI project management.
  • Experience in high-end retouching and post-production.
  • Understanding of 3D process & techniques, leading 3D applications including modeling, animation, texturing, lighting, rendering, and compositing.
  • Extremely well organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience delivering a large volume of product imagery
  • Technology manufacturer industry client experience a plus
  • Team player and strong work ethic
  • Ability to quickly understand product specs and documentations
  • A strong knowledge of best practices in project management
  • Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
  • A high level of comfort with managing multi- projects
  • The ability to see big picture while managing every last detail
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • SmartSheet and JIRA experience a plus
  • Must be open to minimal travel in US and Globally as needed
