Art Director (Auto)


The Art Director ideates, visualizes and designs for projects including video, photography, web, social, print, mobile applications, motion graphics, and digital brochures. Art Director also works with photographers, DPs and directors on photo, CG and video creation. 

  • Develops creative concepts and styles for print, digital, and film 
  • Art Directs photo shoots, film shoots, and illustrations 
  • Directs photographic retouching as well as film edits, color sessions, and sound mix/design sessions. 
  • Produces comps/betas/storyboards for client presentations 
  • Collaborates with Project Management, Production, Art Buying and Studio to achieve the best solutions for assignments 
  • Apply design (GUI) to wireframes and/or concept sketches 
  • Keeps current on design/production trends, materials and developments 


  • 3-5 years art direction and design experience in marketing and communications industries with experience on interactive and video (excellent portfolio and glowing references in lieu or formal stuff OK) 
  • Expert skills in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) 
  • Experience directing photo and film shoots. 
  • A strong understanding of the photographic and film post-production process. 
  • Ability to communicate creative ideas/concepts through the use of thumbnail sketches and/or storyboards 
  • Strong presentation skills 
  • A working understanding of HTML, DHTML and JavaScript. (Requirements for this position do not include the ability to write any of the aforementioned languages, but candidate should have a basic knowledge of what each language is/can do.)
