Senior Project Manager


This role manages the Americas regions for the rollout of vehicles for our automotive clients’ Global Configurator Program. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring market feedback is communicated to productions teams and digital interactive teams to maintain data alignment between markets and production. Scheduling, scoping, budgeting and ensuring deliveries on time is a key in this role.  


  • Manage the four regions of the America’s (USA, Canada, Latin America & Mexico) in coordination with global teams for the rollout of vehicles Global Configurator Program.
  • Understand and manage vehicle project scope per market.
  • Plan and assist with coordinating vehicle production schedules and costs for all four regions.
  • Work closely with Global team in Japan to ensure the successful deployment of Configurator assets to relevant server locations.
  • Manage complex sets of requirements for multiple vehicles for four markets and ensures markets are always up to date with schedules, delays, information requests and costs.
  • Assist with the coordination of data related to the display and function of production assets (i.e. help to ensure production information guides are aligned).
  • Actively identifies project risks and provides mitigation strategies in collaboration with the production teams to ensure market launch dates are adhered to whenever possible.
  • Manages the escalation of production assets and deployment issues and ensures relevant stakeholders and managers are brought together quickly to resolve.
  • Facilitates meetings between productions teams and the market to help align on vehicle specifications.
  • Coordinates with other Nissan teams as directed by Nissan Global.
  • Organizes and attends meetings with all Americas regions weekly.
  • Attends global production meetings twice weekly. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; PMI certification a plus.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years project management/account management experience.
  • Experience in working with an international team is a plus.
  • Mac & PC literate, in the applications of Word, Excel, Project Jira and Confluence.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Project and Project Online.
  • Demonstrated success working in a small team setting.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills.
  • Job requires evening and/or some weekend work
