Junior Strategist

JOB SUMMARY:

The Designory is looking for a Junior Strategist who brings critical thinking and leadership to multidisciplinary teams and our clients. You have a passion for understanding of the client and their business, the audience, and the latest digital trends to deliver innovative and compelling experiences. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the agency to develop digital strategies that align with brand, audience and business objectives
  • Work with the strategy team to identify opportunities for digital enhancements that drive value for our clients’ and their customers
  • Help create briefs to kick-off and guide project teams
  • Conduct category, audience, and industry research
  • Identify insights based on customer research, competitive landscape and brand knowledge
  • Support strategy team to develop content strategies for digital experiences whether websites, emails, or other online communications
  • Assist strategy team with development of personas, customer journeys, and functional and content requirements
  • Participate in and support research activities, analytics and SEO reviews, stakeholder interviews, user testing, working and brainstorming sessions, competitive assessments, and requirements gathering
  • Communicate strategic direction to team and collaborate with them to concept, implement, measure, and optimize
  • Know the latest digital and technology trends, including a basic understanding of UX best practices and an interest in emerging technologies
  • Ability to simplify complex subject matter and communicate it clearly to team members, including writers, designers, interaction designers and developers

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of experience. Experience in a digital agency environment is a plus.
  • A basic understanding of responsive website design and development, content strategy, SEO, analytics, and integrated campaigns
  • The ability to see big picture while managing every last detail
  • Collaborative spirit, strong work ethic, and proven track record for taking initiative
  • Ability to manage your time, prioritize projects and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
