Freelance Post Production Producer



The Localization Post Production Producer is in charge of executing the regional localization of video deliverables, in a hands-on position, to meet and exceed the client expectations. Takes ownership in managing project timelines, personnel and conflicts that arise during the post production process. Finds the best solution to changing scope and deliveries by understanding how to quickly pivot to a new direction. Understands the details and processes that go into a post production localization workflow and pipeline.



  • Plans and manages localization schedules and oversees post production localization artists to ensure that timelines are met.
  • Enforce guidelines and parameters for the post production localization artists throughout the life of each project.
  • Oversees day-to-day localization workflow ensuring all projects and operations are running smoothly.
  • Ensure a standard of consistency, accuracy and excellence across all localized deliverables
  • Works closely with the Project Manager and Director of Content Production to implement all assigned projects into the Designory post production pipeline.
  • Acts as the day-to-day contact with internal Account team once project has gone into post-production.
  • Reports any/all client requests, outside of scope of work, to Director of Content Production.
  • Provide regular updates on project timelines and budget to the Director of Content Production.
  • Should projects need additional freelancers, or third-party assistance outside the Designory in-house roster, Post Producer will inform Director of Post Content with additional costs for approval.



  • 3+ years in a post production producer role.
  • Excellent client and time management skills and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and works well under tight and changing deadlines.
  • Understanding of post production costs and localization workflow.
  • Maintains a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Strong problem solver in a video production setting.
  • Knowledge of video production localization, video specs, camera specs and video compression.
  • Experience using post production applications (Resolve, Adobe Products, ProTools) is a plus.
  • Must be well organized with strong communication skills (both verbal and writing).
