Project Manager (CPG), eg+

We’re searching for an experienced client-facing project manager to work in a fast-paced agency who will thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be the sole project owner working closely with the account, production / studio, and asset management teams as well partner agencies and 3rd party vendors on a global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) account. You should be comfortable and experienced with direct client communication and managing multiple clients and projects.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Learn, understand and know the client, their products, services, brands, processes, tools, partners and audience
  • Establish and maintain effective, trusted and collaborative working relationships with clients, agency partners and internal departments
  • Be highly communicative and focused on pre-emptive problem solving as well as in managing the expectations of the client at all times, particularly with regard to turnaround times
  • Look for opportunities to provide better support to the client
  • Manage small-to-large multi-channel video/moving image, print and digital adaptation and regional localization projects including video (TV / OLV), social, collateral, web banners, websites and more
  • Work within the client’s workflow tool to intake new projects, upload documentation / assets for review, intake feedback and deliver final files
  • Review client briefs to determine if all requirements are met and work with the client and/or partner agencies to fill in the gaps
  • Brief, define project scope and coordinate the estimation process with the studio team and 3rd party vendors
  • Partner with the studio team and 3rd party vendors to create and manage detailed multi-phased project plans
  • Manage day-to-day tasks, performing proactive identification of potential challenges and ensuring on-time and quality project deliverables
  • Manage project scope, timeline and budget and document scope when additional requests are made
  • Manage project communication internally and externally and document key meetings and decisions
  • Manage invoice tracking and account billing for a project-based account
  • Report overall project status internally and externally
  • Coordinate handoff of final assets to the asset management team

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience with 2+ in an agency environment
  • Client-facing experience required
  • Experience working with partner agencies and 3rd party vendors a plus
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience a plus
  • Extremely well organized and detail-oriented
  • Team player, positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Emotionally intelligent, collaborative and adaptable
  • Comfortable with quick turn projects and solution-oriented
  • A strong knowledge of best practices in project management
  • Demonstrates strong writing and communication skills
  • Effective negotiation and conflict management skills
  • A high level of comfort with managing multi-channel projects in parallel
  • The ability to see big picture while managing every last detail
  • Experience with global campaigns and regional localization
  • Production experience, including above-the-line (ATL), video (TV / OLV) and social media experience, a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • SmartSheet and Google Drive/Docs experience a plus
  • Must be open to early and late conference calls with global teams, when needed
  • Must be open to travel in US and globally as needed
