Community Manager

This role will potentially be located in either Chandler, AZ or Phoenix, AZ.

 

Designory is looking for an experienced Community Manager to join its growing strategy team. This opportunity is to work on a well-known tech client, focusing on social media engagement for executives and extending the brand’s thought leadership positioning through content creation and development, community engagement, and event amplification. 

 

We’re looking for a strategic thinker who can bring innovative ideas and also manage the day-to-day implementation of social strategies. You thrive in dynamic environments, collaborate well with others, can handle ambiguity and bring both passion and a strong work ethic to execute flawlessly and interact professionally with executives and their communities.

 

The Community Manager will work closely with other members of the Social Media team to drive social strategy, track metrics and performance, and promote thought leadership and events. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day community management of executive and brand handles, including approvals and publishing, editorial calendar, social listening
  • Develop a deep understanding of executives’ tone and areas of expertise to support content creation, curation and engagement
  • Create social posts to drive traffic to longer form content
  • Manage community engagement based on brand guidelines and established response protocols
  • Prepare and present reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as well as event based and ad hoc reports
  • Recommend optimizations to strategy and creative teams based on previous campaign learnings
  • Keep abreast of social media trends, research new channels to find new ways to connect with our clients and prospects, and share key insights/learnings with the team

 

 

 

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience 
  • A high level of comfort with all social media channels, especially LinkedIn and Twitter
  • The ability to see the big picture while managing every last detail
  • Experience working with enterprise-level social media management, listening and reporting tools such as: Spredfast, Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Infegy, Netbase
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Google Drive and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills including the ability to work with and present to executives
  • Need to be able to navigate ambiguity with clients
