Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager is passionate about Automotive Marketing along with being a brilliant communicator with a mind for strategic Account work. Based in Nashville, one of the fastest growing cities, the Account Manager works with Automotive clients in an effort to help capture client objectives on a variety of items, such as annual Marketing Plans, strategic initiatives, and/or tactics while having an entrepreneurial spirit to help clients identify ideal paths for Marketing Programs. The Account Manager oversees a particular group(s) Product Marketing budget while suggesting innovative opportunities to connect with consumers. In addition, the Account Manager facilitates daily communication between the client’s office in Nashville with the agency team based in Long Beach, California.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as main liaison between client and Long Beach team. Work closely with Strategy and Project Management to understand and organize all project work.
  • Ability to articulate the consumer shopping process to clients.
  • Presenting to client audiences at the Manager, Director and Executive level.
  • Multi-tasking from agency and/or client offices.
  • Communicate client direction to the LB team. Ensure work is meeting client needs/expectations and delivered in a timely manner and within budget.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities to expand the existing business.
  • Write creative briefs; ensure that all information necessary for successful completion of the project is gathered from the client, works with project managers to ensure that the client’s schedule requirements are met for each project.
  • Assist with creative production requirements and managing timelines including briefing, obtaining internal and external approvals on work and attending video shoots
  • Collaborate and integrate with agency partners.
  • Responsible for minor budgeting tasks such as creation of estimates, scope of work and budget tracking.
  • Work closely with the Long Beach accounting department to open jobs, set-up new vendors in the system, and request purchase orders for vendors, initiate invoice generation as well as track distribution and payment of invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. in Marketing/Communications or similar.
  • 4-6 years of marketing experience. Agency experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with a confident, positive attitude and ability to problem solve.
  • Knowledge of Product Videos and Video Production.
  • Digital Content experience (from an Account role) is a plus.
  • Must be well organized with strong communication skills (both verbal and writing).
  • Must be able to work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Valid Driver’s License, transportation, and car insurance.
