AEM Junior Content Author

JOB SUMMARY

 We’re looking for an AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Junior Content Author for a major automotive website. Good knowledge and understanding of different parts of the AEM product (sites, page structure, assets, workflow, classic UI) or other Content Management Systems.  Must have experience in authoring content using templates/components and composing web pages. Good communication skill to work and problem-solve with various business partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Author content on a major automotive website in AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Crop and optimize images for use on the site
  • Work with cross-functional groups to implement new features and updates on website
  • Adhere to creative direction/design, accessibility, and production guidelines
  • Actively QA the site to find typos, bugs and other areas to improve
  • Guide and educate business partners to help them understand our processes and requirements
  • Maintain and update authoring guide to provide detailed information on enhanced and newly created components
  • Maintain other process information relating to our CMS

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong interpersonal skills and desire to contribute to a positive creative work environment
  • The desire to learn what you don’t already know; solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • An eye for aesthetics
  • Desire to organize, develop, and improve processes
  • Comfort with ambiguity, flexibility to move forward even when not all of the details for a project are provided up front
  • Experience working on multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager or other Content Management Systems is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of HTML
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a must
  • Knowledge of Sketch is a plus
