Project Manager

This role is a one year assignment with potential for longer term. Open to regular/full-time as well as freelance candidates. 

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a driven account/project manager to help roll out our global automotive manufacturer's digital marketing programs. This role will work on various web presentations including configurators and asset creation using various platforms. We need an expert that will bridge communication between the North American market, suppliers and global headquarters in Tokyo. Key responsibilities will be to manage schedules and procedures, plan and understand requirements from the local market and transmit these to multiple stakeholders. Validation of processes, troubleshooting and capturing best practices from various global regions will be important as well. This position will foster a positive team environment that focuses on collaboration, flexibility, and heavy coordination. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct communication with clients and various marketing partners
  • Inform and get aligned with the North America markets about planned schedule and requirements such as time, scope and cost.
  • Retrieve all requirements from market on time to start production.
  • Become the point of contact for the markets providing clarity on processes and procedures.
  • Handle production inquires during asset production. Manage pending issues and if necessary search for support or escalation.
  • Facilitate the validation process and make sure that feedback from markets are structured and provided to production in the correct format and on time.
  • Responsible for planning and timely completion of market acceptance.
  • Output report when needed including progress, status and issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five previous experience in managing requirements, account management or similar client facing role
  • Have 3+ years working in cross-functional project teams
  • Solid interpersonal skills – projects a positive, customer service-oriented attitude. This includes experience effectively communicating and coordinating work in global environment.
  • Be highly detail oriented and organized
  • Understanding of digitals tools/systems and best practices
  • Strong capability with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Performance:
