Junior Art Director

Are you passionate about design? A creative conceptual thinker? A driven master of your craft and pushing your creativity? An active collaborator? Then you might just be the junior art director we’re looking for. The crème de la crème candidate will be one who is excited by the work — whether it’s developing high-level concepts, storyboards, interactive design or experiential marketing. You should play well with others, bringing a spirit of teamwork to every kick-off, concept and internal presentation. Someone who can defend their work but who also understands how to take feedback with grace as well.


  • Partner daily with a team of fellow art directors, copywriters and designers
  • Concept and design compelling stories brought to life through key visuals, digital, video and print mediums
  • Work with writers to develop concepts and campaign copy 
  • Create beautiful comps and key visuals for client presentations
  • Produce/oversee production on assigned projects
  • Eager to present your ideas and work 
  • Keep current on design/production trends, materials and developments
  • Bring an easy-going, friendly demeanor to a tight-knit work team


  • 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education 
  • Self-directed, motivated and resourceful
  • An extensive working knowledge of design and presentation tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, PowerPoint, Sketch)
  • Familiar with video, interactive design trends in mobile, print, typography
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Must be experienced and comfortable using a Macintosh computer and OS
  • Agency experience preferred but not required
  • This role is on-site in our Downtown Chicago office
